A Kannapolis Christmas will officially kick off with the Kannapolis Christmas Festival on December 1st at 2:00 p.m.
This will be the start of the 2012 Celebration of Lights in Kannapolis. The Celebration of Lights boasts more than 175,000 lights and takes place at Village Park from Saturday, December 1st – 30th (closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).
Again this year kids of all ages will be able to visit Santa in his studio from 6:00-9:00 p.m. each night. The park will also feature performances from our very own Kannapolis Singing Bears, who will entertain the young and young at heart with a 30 minute Christmas Carol performance each hour on the hour beginning at 6 p.m. each evening and running through 9:30 p.m. Village Park will also have a light show accompanied by music.
The Winterland Express will also take riders through the lights at the park from 6:00-9:30 p.m. Tickets are $2.00.
